I enjoyed the audiobook and story; however, nothing is going to be especially memorable about this book to me, which is why I’m rating it three stars. Also, the story deals with really big themes, and everything just ended TOO perfectly for it to be believable, if that makes sense?

Oh how I love Emily Austin! She always hits me in the feels in the rawest, most witty ways. We Could Be Rats was written in a very creative manner, with the first half of the book being the main character writing and re-writing suicide her letter. Although creative, I’m not sure how I felt about this style of getting to know the characters. Emily Austin’s other novels were definitely more my vibe, but I still really enjoyed this one!

I’ve slowly read this entire book throughout my pregnancy and feel very accomplished in doing so. 😂 This is very straightforward and clinical in terms of explaining everything related to pregnancy, which is what I was wanting. I think this is a pretty good resource for first time moms overall.

Breastfeeding is so intimidating to me, but Breastfeeding Made Simple helped me feel a little more confident! This book definitely has an agenda to convince you to breastfeed, which is why I’m dropping it down a star. For some women, bottle feeding really is the best thing for them and their baby.

Deep End was a really fun, spicy book. I was annoyed by all the miscommunication, and I wish I would’ve read this physically instead of listening to the audiobook. I did not like the female narrator; she sounded a lot older and had a raspy voice that didn’t match with the main character, imo.
