Katee Robert once again delivered a fun and sexy monster romance but threw in an (un)healthy dose of religious trauma into the mix. We all know that if Katee writes it, I am reading it, and with every new book they release, it just solidifies that for me. This sapphic romance also had a bit of gender fluidity with our monster mmc and boy was that a TREAT. A fiery phallus might not sound sexy, but just you wait. Also, a vibrating cl*t…. 👀 please go check this one out, you won’t regret it.

I listened to the audiobook of this one while packing up preorders for NOT IN LOVE and I really enjoyed how fun this one was. It was the perfect audio and I loved that we got a different narrator for each POV.

Each character had their own reasoning for wanting to kill the king of Yusan and they must work together if they want to succeed, despite not knowing each others intent. I enjoyed how the trust between characters slowly grew as this book progressed and we even got bits of romance throughout. Despite the premise of this book, it was fairly upbeat and fun for the most part. There were some mentions of attempted SA so just keep that in mind. The ending of this book was my favorite part and I will definitely be picking up book 2! No one asked but Aeri and Sora were my favorite.

Oh my god this is such a hidden gem of a book!!! I haven’t heard anyone talk about this one and I came across it at work a few weeks ago and knew immediately from the synopsis that this was a MUST READ for me. This is a DARK SAPPHIC TANGLED RETELLING (honestly, need I say more?) with pirates and necromancy!!! This was such a fun read and while it was brutal and fairly dark at times, I really enjoyed all the action and betrayals. I am SO invested in this story and I need book 2 as soon as possible. This book was genuinely phenomenal and I need people to read it so we can talk about it!!!!!

This was a fun and fast paced sapphic fantasy romance with dragons, gods, the chosen one, and a potential war between two kingdoms. This book starts post war (it’s complicated) and I am super interested in a prequel novel that covers everything leading up to this novel.

I listened to the audiobook of this one and it was such a light, fun, and tender read. I enjoyed the contrast between Anna and Liam and how they gave into their desires for one another. The theme of this book was basically “eat the rich” and I loved that so much. Marriage of convenience tropes in books is one of my favorites because of the forced proximity that comes with it (and in this case, the one bed trope… as we all know where that leads 🫡). I also immensely enjoyed Liam’s character growth in this book and what it took for him to stand up to his truly awful family.

AHMAD IS SUCH A HOT MMC OMFG!!! This book started off with a bang (literally) and had some of the funniest banter I’ve read between love interests. I listened to the audio book of this one and LOVED the narrator, she made this such a fun book to listen to! Aaliyah is determined to find a boyfriend before her 30th birthday, leading to a string of bad dates (like truly, some of these men are AWFUL and had me wanting to throw hands with fictional characters). Luckily though, Aaliyah has a hot (married?) bartender (Ahmad😉) to keep an eye on her while she finds the one. This slow burn, friends to lovers romance had me laughing out loud and screaming to the void for Ahmad and Aaliyah to just GET TOGETHER ALREADY. This book comes out June 11th and I highly recommend you add it to your TBR!

This book reminded me a bit of the movie Ready or Not (which I loved), but with vampires and a poly romance. This queer fantasy thriller was such a fun but brutal read, with characters who lacked morals and let their selfish desires lead their actions in a fight to survive. Kazan was the type of character whose actions were entirely unpredictable, making this the type of book that held my full attention from start to finish!

Ummmm HELLO HOT GRUMPY SCOTTISH LOVE INTEREST!!! This is a smutty marriage of convenience between two people who clash from the moment they meet but eventually find solace and comfort in each others presence. This book was a lot different than I was expecting going in and it took me by surprise with how tender it was. I’m interested to see how the rest of the series plays out!

THIS BOOK WAS SO ADDICTIVE!! I stayed up until 2 am reading this and only stopped because I couldn’t keep my eyes open any longer. The banter between Dixon and Shane was my favorite aspect of this book. These two characters annoy the shit out of each other but it makes the tension between them burn even hotter 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Did I also sob while reading this book? Yes. Every Elle Kennedy book I’ve read has been an absolute hit for me and I CANNOT WAIT FOR BOOK 3!!!

This book also deals with the heavy topic of physical abuse and depicts it happening on page so be sure to keep that in mind before starting this one.
