Dopamine Nation: Finding Balance in the Age of Indulgence by Anna Lembke

informative medium-paced

3.5

Well laid out and written with interesting client examples and good points. I think it would've been helpful to also bring up benefits or maybe a more rounded view of the dopamine addiction situation. It felt important and poignant and yet the conclustion was inevitably dissatisfying in the tone laying out problem in a more black and white sense.

The ending was satisfying but  very sad storylines, albeit probably accurate to culture, time, and place.

Enjoyed it but not as riveting as some thrillers. Liked the ending
