I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I’ve now read it for a second time and it’s so cool how I can pick up on so much more this time round. I won’t share any spoilers but my brain is running at a million miles an hour thinking of connections to CC and ToG!

Toshikazu Kawaguchi is such a brilliant author. His stories never cease to leave me in tears. The feelings he gives the reader push and mold you to feel what the characters are feeling. I’d describe reading this book like drinking a London fog. It’s sweet but not saccharine, and it leaves you with a warm feeling in your heart.

This has quickly become one of my favorite series. I loved every book of this trilogy and these will definitely be books I’ll keep and reread over and over again. Finale was definitely my favorite of the series, but I loved books 1 and 2 as well. I wish I could give this series more stars.

The book is interesting but I mostly listen to audiobooks and this books plot is very intricate and I was continuously getting confused. I will try again when I have more time and can actually sit down and read the book, but because of the way it’s written, it’s hard to just listen to.
