Half and half on this. I skipped several chapters that didn’t speak to me, and highlighted many passages in other chapters. Something tells me that’s kind of the point. :)

If I were editing this book, I’d put the chapters in a different order, so that everything starts from 1) rigor on what actually matters and 2) being kind to yourself. There were some good practical tips here, and I might check out the author’s podcast. But as a reader who used to be Christian and still has some big feelings around that, I found the religious remarks peppered throughout to be distracting. That’s the author’s prerogative but something to know going in.

Just wish this were a bit more resolved at the end.
