Unravel Me by Becka Mack

I loved every bit of this book. It was so cute, funny, and the spice was so good! It follows single mom Rosie who meets famous hockey player Adam Lockwood on a hike when Adams dog “attacks” her with all the love, hugs, and kisses. They have an immediate connection, but they both have some things to work through before they’re ready to fully trust each other. Adam just wants to find someone who would love him for who he is, not for hockey or how much he makes. And Rosie just wants someone to make her (and her son) their first choice. Ughhh one of my favorite reads! I already want to read it again.

I had heard so many great things about this book, but it was not my favorite. I felt like I was reading it just to get it over with rather than because I was enjoying it.

It’s about a cam girl who starts a relationship with a guy on onlyfans, but neither knows the others actual identity. The MMC randomly “ghosts” her (because his baby momma died) *no they weren’t together* and they lose touch.. they meet again without knowing that they had met through onlyfans a year prior because the FMC gets hired to be his daughters nanny.

I didn’t like the FMC. I felt like it was a really boring read. The conflicts in this book were also just very childish. The spice was decent but repetitive. Honestly, I was expecting for the MMC to have a dirtier mouth, but whatever

I went in to this book with hopes that there would be more plot. Which there was, but the pacing of everything was just way off. I didn’t feel like the plot really came into play until the last couple of chapters in the book. Now, I loved the character development and the relationships between all of them. I love that we get to see how their relationships evolve from when the boys knew Jess in high school to them getting to know her a couple years after, but I feel like there could have been a lot more of the plot sprinkled in throughout the book instead of waiting until the end for stuff to finally happen. Loved the characters and their love, just wish there was a lot more substance to the story besides that and their kinks.

I loved this book however, I wish that we got more to the plot besides all of the spice. There was literally at least one spicy scene in maybe all but 3 or 4 chapters (out of like 50). That’s all fine and dandy (I love some good spice… and it was good) but I wanted more to the plot.

I loved the bits and pieces we got that gave us a look at how the boys were raised and how they all came together, but not enough in comparison to the amount of spice. The plot we did get was so good. I just was expecting more I guess. Hopefully the second part is better.

I will devour anything that Rina Kent puts out. This one was no different! I loved the dynamic between Landon and Mia and the raw possessiveness that both characters had for one another. Landon was hilariously deranged and insane and Mia fit perfectly within his crazy. Rina never fails.

I’ve heard so many people diss on this book, but I’m glad I read it. It was such a cute read with the funnest characters. I loved everything about it! Nate Hawkins is such a good book boyfriend and I loved Anastasia as the FMC. If you’re looking for a light and fluffy read, this is your go to. I can’t wait to read the next books in the series.
