Okay… I wasn’t going to read this, but I’m a sucker and got curious. Read TW’s as the MMC does inherently bad things.
I would say to go into this book with the idea that the MMC is not a good person. You go through all of the emotions of someone who is put in a situation where they have no control of their life/self. The love, hesitation, questioning, distrust, and hatred. You experience her breaking point and the moment she feels like the only way to stop destruction is to give herself to her tormentor. It’s sad and it’s not right, but it happens. TW’s include: Gang violence, DV, SA, grooming, PTSD and more.
At the end of the day, I think the author did a great job of putting you in the FMCs shoes. The little sections of text where at one point, her mind was playing tricks on her, and the next she was thinking more rationally were great. It really helped me see how the manipulation she experienced really took a toll on her mind.

After the entire first book and 90% of the second book of the MMC being the worst, and he finally realizes that he’s been terrible to Mina? And he wants to swoop in and save the day and do something specifically for her instead of whatever will be most beneficial to him? After he’s been a selfish doucher the whole book? What the hell? I didn’t love the redemption part of this book, but it was still good.
