It has taken me nearly two years to write a review for this book. In the meanwhile I've recommended this book to a dozen of people and relived the story vicariously through them.
It is no surprise to anyone to say that this book still occupies my mind. Whenever I read a new book and reach an ambiguous ending, I am reminded of this quote; "But that is how a tragedy like ours or King Lear breaks your heart—by making you believe that the ending might still be happy, until the very last minute."
I believe a book is deserving of all the stars if it can leave a longlasting impact on someone. To me, it taught to be more appreciative of sad stories because despite all of the tragedy, people will always look for hope.
Whether that is heartbreaking or admirable is up to the reader.

HELLO??!!!
This was executed brilliantly. Victor's obsession with Eli and his "evil" side, his revenge plan to get back to him, the author writing up to it by switching from timelines in a comprehensive and exciting way, all of it executed brilliantly.
I loved this book so much and schwab's writing is so good, it flows so easily and not once did I feel bored or was I distracted. They have a way of capturing you with their writing alone.

I remember reading this on wattpad back when it was still ongoing and I remember it being so good. I really loved the female lead and she's got a powerful personality and the story itself even had me sitting on the edge of my chair at times.

I hadn't read in so long, the entirety of 2020 was just me reading my schoolbooks and sometimes fanficton so it was very refreshing to break my streak with this book. Although it was a bit hard to read with all the difficult vocabulary (English is not my native tongue) it was funny, creepy and intense, a perfect read for Halloween. I think the author also did a great job describing the tension between Johann and Florian. This book was great from A to Z, I'm really happy I read it!

I have recently re-read Fools and I must say it is one of my all time favourite webtoons. I am simply in love with the storytelling, the aesthetics and the characters themselves.
I adore how their meeting felt like fate. They met once at a bus stop, both younger and naive when it came to love and then four year later they meet again. They don't know they've met before but they are somehow drawn to each other and eventually fall in love with each other.
There are not enough words to express how much I loved this webtoon. I go back every once in a while because of how happy it makes me.

This was so cute and definitely one of the more mature webtoons I've read in terms of conflicts and love.
I love how it ended with "maybe hakdo will always love doochi a little", emphasising that the people we have loved will leave traces behind in us, whether we like it or not.
Definitely one of the webtoons I'd recommend people to read, it's pretty short and reads quickly. The art style is pretty and sometimes even very cute.
