I went into this book thinking it was a romantic comedy and came out of it with so much more! It’s emotional and surprised me at the end. It was so good. ❤️

Made it to chapter 13. Couldn’t do it anymore. The girl was SO annoying and even though the male was read by my favorite male voice actor it was just too juvenile for me.

It felt rushed. The story was good and it had good bones but everything felt thrown together. If it was hashed out a bit more i think it could have been great. Also the miscommunication has me so annoyed. It’s my least favorite trope. Not bad though, it kept me reading and I want to see what happens in the next one.

How we if you’re needing a quick read that is technically fantasy but doesn’t take much world building you should read it.

A solid 3 stars. It had me giggling with glee in places and also the characters were very lovable. It didn't blow me away but it was enjoyable to read.

Lots and lots of sex.  Not complaining! Just thought you should know. 😉

I absolutely loved the male character. And the story was good. But something about her writing left a bit to be desired. Not sure. I need to sit on this one i think.

Update: I just kept remembering how she would say things that just didn't make sense to me. ALmost like an inside joke that I just wasn't a part of. Maybe it was her sense of humor trying to come out but it was just not for me. I still love the male character, but the flaws of the main female just overshadowed so much of the story. It's such a cute idea that I almost wanted it to be more of a casual read and not as "deep" as she was trying to make it.
