I listened to this book on tape. I felt about it the same way I did the movie: I could sense the genius in it but it just wasn't for me. I easily forget the movie (besides the Sonmi character). I quit listening half through to spare my time for something I care about further.

I'm a sucker for this story but in a less dramatic way, it's the story of the love of my life too:)

I think I've liked other books of his more . Thought-provoking as always but I felt as though the arguments were less in-depth as they have been before. Always a joy to read, though.

Really enjoyed geeking out over this book. Now I want to tackle his English language one. Highly recommend the book-on-Tape version of this.

Beautiful book. Wonderfully explicit on the topic thus, I'll probably check it out another time when I'm working with similar subject matter.

I obviously devoured this book like I would sappy rom-coms. That's why I can't really give it a higher rating because "really?!" Not plausible...my suspension of disbelief isn't there at times. But of course it's a thrilling ride and I want to finish it as fast as possible so the writing is a delicious treat compared the biography of cancer I'm currently listening to on tape (heavy stuff).

A lot to handle as well as difficult at times. But there is a good amount to want to understand. Much appreciation for my mom as an oncology nurse for some 25 years.

Set this down for some weeks before finishing in favor of lighter stuff. Some great characters and voices in this. I love the allusion for the tightrope walker throughout. I recommend that documentary if you want to wrap your head around something outstanding.
