I'm not a big memoir person but I enjoyed listening to this in short chunks. I appreciated the short chapters that were great stories for walking. I think I'll enjoy short stories, essayists for audiobooks.

I love the theme of Swan Songs, and all these different endings. Every story is so unique and creative. Truly one of a kind, and using different artists is genius.

I like this, but I actually think it's better for sales/entrepreneurs than leaders.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 50%.
So much of this is cringe, and outdated. The entire happiness section is totally wrong based on actual science (and the Happiness class I've taken), and the reality of it actually fits BETTER with the slight edge theory so this is the point the book actually lost me and I stopped reading. It made me wonder what else in the book is just factually wrong data.

So much of the copy I had was "Oh look at these stories from people who read this book" and not actual content.

This is a dark slow-burn comedy about the office. And I love it.

I honestly didn't expect to enjoy being so involved in Frankie's love life. Usually in a book I lose interest very quickly when the focus is love.  But here, it was different. Possibly because Frankie comes back so broken that I found her incredibly relatable. I've never read any Hannah before this, so maybe it's time to start.

I truly like this book for what it is. It's teaching people how to critically think, and then teaching them how to teach OTHERS how to critically think. The framing of the questions is just really great.
