This was predictable from the get go since fungus induced zombification is the only kind of zombie there is anymore lol,. It could’ve still been a neat concept as an unlikely lead up to a zombie outbreak, and I like that it didn’t get into an actual apocalypse or anything and left you hanging. But the whole journalism/sleuthing element ruined it for me, it was way too easy and dramatic. Also completely unbelievable in terms of the journalism being completely unethical. Like you cannot do that. You will not get your little EIC prize you will be sued for obstructing justice 😭
