Good read

I really liked the multiple perspectives. It took a little bit to really tell them all apart and get the characters straight, but when I did I really enjoyed reading.

Besides a few story holes, I thoroughly enjoyed reading All Fall Down. I wish that her husband and mother could have been developed a little more.

Such a gut wrenching story. There were times I was so angry with Jeannette's parents I stopped reading and walked around for a bit. Excellent book. It just proves that amazing things can come from terrible upbringing.

Claire Kendal told a story that both terrified and angered me. I sat down and couldn't stop reading because I had to know what happened. I really enjoyed the book.

The way the the author changed perspectives gave me sort of the eerie feeling that I was the stalker, as well as the one being stalked. It's hard to believe this is Claire Kendal's first novel.

A very different and interesting take on a post-apocalyptic world. I found at times Frida's naivete was obnoxious. Overall, though the story kept me guessing as to what would happen next.

I needed that. I felt Mary to the bone. Not really about her recent losses, but having a hunger, not necessarily always about food either. She lived her life in fear of so much, and was essentially dying. When she lost almost everything, she had decide to either dig into that dark hole or start living. I fell madly in love with the kind strangers that helped her along the way too! Probably one of the best books I've read this year.

I haven't read a book in a few hours in a long time. I am wondering why this book got such poor reviews. It was well written (save for a few missed ones which someone fixed outright by pen in a library book - the horror!) and obviously kept my interest quite well. It mixed my two favorite genre's: apocalyptic-fiction and mystery.

When I first started reading I had no clue it would lead the way it did. I had images of "Room" mixed with "The Lovely Bones" in my mind. I was sort of angry/jealous I had never thought of writting something like this...

I have been reading so many fast-paced books lately, that I feel The Good Dream slowed me down a little. I was heartbroken and warmed all at once. For all the things that happened to Peter, Ivorie helps this young boy's future to bloom. I will actually miss reading about the characters.

Started out slow, I had to push on a little to keep going. The story line felt rushed as well. Not one of the greatest books I have read lately.
