I really really really enjoyed this book. I’m giving this four stars because there’s nothing wrong with it but it’s not my favorite book ever. It has an oddly contradictory structure of being both a slow burn and a fast paced thriller. It’s a quick read and even though you are constantly given surprising elements, all the intensity hits you at the end.....and yet it is not a bang. Wow, I feel the more I break it down, the less sure I am of my thoughts. This is definitely a book that is more about the journey than the destination.
