I love how many stories are crammed into this sort novella. I love how they're scattered over such a long time line and how the point of view of the narrator, temporally, plays with the reader's comfort level. 

Merry Christmas to those who celebrate and beware of bells after reading this if creepy tales tend to follow you after reading.

I literally cried
homecoming invite
. Lots of acceptance. Sometimes it takes a few tries, but I love that we get it from family and friends. And I love that side characters also get their moments of acceptance. I like how some characters just existing helps other characters understand themselves better. Love it!
