I don't know if I liked it. Wanted to throw up multiple times. The end is just giving the creeps. So unsettling to see such dehumanised people. Very disturbing. Hard to read. When I was reading the beginning of them living together I thought to myself oh that's what I was waiting for. But 20 pages left it was just too much I convinced myslef to finish it.

It was a book to take a breath with. It kinda felt like a well-written fanfic, no plot twists, nothing that you wouldn't have seen coming. Either way it was a good read even though I don't feel so connected with the characters because of idealisation. The main characters don't seem real to me at all and maybe that's why there's no emotional connection for me.

It was a hard one to read - took me a month. I liked the plot but it was just too long for my liking. The ending wasn't satisfying but I don't want to read more of it.

I CERTAINLY DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING. So surprising, so good. I need some more of that kind of books criminal psychologist thrillers, but still kinda light.

I'm so in love with Klara - like a mother to a child for real it was so emotional to see her grow during the book.

JUST THE WRITING AAAA SO GOOD. The story is just touching, but funny at the same time. It makes me feel warm inside, so many underlined sentences.

My favourite book of all time. I could read it endlessly, how much can you love book characters? The writing style is just immaculate.

It's a good classic, though it kinda bored me at the ending scenes.

Marek Edelman tells you facts as they are, without unnecessary beautification. History served inthe right way, even though the topic touches war time and horrible things people had done, he doesn't judge anyones behaviour. As a reader you can make your own opinion about their actions.
