This book is so fast paced and intriguing you'll find it hard to put it down once you've started. Though the pacing seems rushed at points, leaving me feeling like more time could have been spent on each conflict, the story is interesting and captivating.

This was a book that kept me at the edge of my seat and eager to find out more and more that happens, the further the book went along. Though I was hoping for a different type of an ending to it, I'm excited to get my hands on the next part in the pentalogy as soon as possible, and not just for the plot but for Rebecca's captivating way of writing as well.

It was another amazing reading journey, one that set up the next part of the pentalogy so excellently that I'm now sad I can't immediately continue reading through.

While some of the twists of the third act left me scratching my head pondering how necessary or fitting for the story they were, the book was a compelling and chilling read. Definitely open to reading more stories like this!

Although an interesting read that kept me turning page after page constantly insatiated, the way it all seemed to be unfolding felt rather predictable. And then THAT twist happened and left me gasping for air as I read the last pages of the novel.

This may be more of a book for children or teenagers, but I found it endearing and entertaining as an adult as well.
