It did drive me a little nuts that the author kept using "ocher" as an adjective for Ben's eyes (probably would have rated this higher if not for that annoyance), but I did really like this. Floence's grief was written realistically and had me crying a few times. If I had read this a year or two ago I think I wouldn't have been able to finish because of that so definitely check out content warnings.
