This was a good start to the series. I was interested in the world and the characters. I wished there was a bit more world building and why the storms happened than there was. And I'm not a fan of the trope that was introduced about three quarters into this book. I am curious how the series will continue.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 20%.

This was hot garbage. I did not like the main characters. None of the twists made sense. And I wasn't invested in things with the main characters except some of the side characters.

Thank you to the author and sunny babe PR for this arc in exchange for an honest review! Man this gives me stars hollow vibes with witches. I loved the mystery and the characters. It was so refreshing to see main characters in their 30's and 40's instead of their teens and 20's. I can't wait to read the next book in this series!

I think this is my favorite of the series so far! I loved Dominic and Alessandra. I loved how she realized she'd lost herself in marriage, and worked to find herself. And loved how she grew and became independent. I loved Dominic so much, and think he grew the most in this book. I feel like he learned a lot through losing Alessandra and worked to gain her back. I will miss reading about them and almost wished this hadn't ended. But I can't wait to continue with the series!

I am not sure how I felt about this book. I gave it a three, because I didn't really like either of the main characters. And it's not that I had issues with their addictions. It was that both were very selfish and very much assholes in certain aspects and there wasn't a lot of character growth until the very end. I am however very interested in the side characters, Rose and Connor, Ryke and Daisy, and Sam and poppy. I am interested in seeing the rest of Lily and Lo's story unfold, and I hope the books will get better from here

Omg! This book is five stars for me! I love love love Thatcher and Lyra! They are my favorite couple in this series so far! I want to protect Thatcher and keep him safe! He had so much growth in this book and it was fascinating to see him let people in, specifically Lyra, grow to learn what emotions are and how to deal with them, especially grief. His journey was just so amazing! I'm sad their story is done, but cannot wait to read the next book!

Thank you to devney perry and valentine pr for giving me an arc in exchange for an honest review. Man oh man... devney perry does not disappoint! I love love loved Faye and rush's story. Rush is SUCH book boyfriend material. And the struggles and growth he and Faye navigate together is so beautiful. I was a little worried there would be a third act breakup and I'm glad there wasn't. Glad both Faye and Rush were mature and handled things and trusted one another. I loved the epilogue and am so glad we get to stay at treasure state for one more book!

Man this is my favorite book out of the series. And I absolutely loved the audiobook! Thatcher and Lyra are my favorite and this book unlocked some kinks in me I didn't know I had. I was devastated by the ending and can't wait for the next book!

Thank you to the author for giving me an arc in exchange for an honest review. I've read a number of this author's work and she usually does contemporary stories so it was nice to see her branch out into dark fantasy. I really enjoyed the characters and the world and the take on rapunzel. I definitely enjoyed the side characters, and can't wait to see what's next in this series!

I enjoyed this book. Enjoyed rook and sage's story. I think what I loved the most about this book is the friendships between the characters. It will be interesting to see where the series goes from here!
