Is this a bully romance, yes. Did the FMC kinda have it coming? Yeah kinda. When Winter tossed away the food he offered her that was kinda messed up. But when she got him fired from his job , by blaming Asher for the weed that was hers, that was too far. She knew he worked to help his single mom but didn’t want to upset daddy. Winter isn’t all bad she has a kind heart but was raised never to trust anyone. But when she needed a boyfriend to get her dad to kill any hopes of her dating a friend’s son she tosses out Asher’s name. And he is so not pleased. They go back and forth on things until it turns in to more. This book has a lot of different sides to it, bully, secret society, rich girl/poor boy, hockey, cheerleader absent family/close family. All these things mixed together give you a great story.

Oh my gosh we finally got the ending to Becca’s story and it was worth the wait!!!
The relationship between Harden, Kaleb and Becca is everything!! Becca is bad ass and is living through another violent situation but is determined to get through it to prove herself. But what caught me by surprise was Aodhan, and that fact that Becca wanted a piece of him ( let’s be real, I would too) . There was plenty of action and the spice was delicious. An awesome surprise was to see Crows and Jade show up in this book!!  This book was amazing but you have to read Soulless Saint to get the full effect.

Primal is the second book in the Heathens Hallow series and it started out with a BANG! Fiora turns on the red light on her porch and dons her white nightgown and waits to be hunted by a stranger, and hunted and ravished she was. Turns out Fiora is hiding from her family in Heathens Hallow, and no one knows her true identity. When Braken Frost comes to her door to tell her about the passing of her brother, she decides that she has to go back to Seattle. When her father decides that Fiora will be used to bind her family with another powerful family she is upset but Braken isn’t. He wants her to be his, he is the one who hunted her and took her primally. They have hot chemistry and Braken always shares with his friends Merrick and Soren. There is a lot of sharing and watching by everyone, things heat up once the four of them are involved. This was a fun action packed story that had a good amount of spice to keep me more than happy.

Bright Lights and Summer Nights is the third book in the Black Tie Billionaires series and dare I say my favorite! I loved the previous 2 books but something about this book has my devotion. This book we get to see Winnie and Margo’s bestie Emma find her own billionaire. Emma has decided she needs to find herself and Winnie tells her to go stay at her Hamptons house for a change of pace. She’s goes and on her first night in town she decides to crash a party by hopping a fence. On the other side is a hot as sin man in a suit, who catches her as she jumps over. The chemistry between Emma and Preston is off the charts, and the banter is top notch. When a clingy woman comes up to Preston, he blurts out Emma is his girlfriend. And she plays along and next thing you know they spend the week pretending to be a couple. What they don’t pretend is the sexual chemistry that’s coming off the both of them. I’m a sucker for fake dating but when you mix in jealous MMC and age gap I’m all in. Preston is my newest book boyfriend, give me the grouchy, controlling, hot, football player any day

The Sweet Spot is the 4th book in the Playing to Win series, I devoured it in an afternoon!
I don’t know about you but I was so excited to read Brynlee’s story and look at her she got herself a super hot coach! Deacon is a single dad and the new coach for the Revolution.  Brynlee and Deacon knew each other from summer time hang outs as kids, but Brynlee’s dad Cade told Deacon to back off because she was still too young for him. Once things start up with these two they get hot, heavy and serious pretty quickly. They go from spicy sleep to marriage in a blink. Once Brynlee shares a serious concern with him , he helps her take the next step to figuring out the future. Brynlee comes clean about the marriage to her family, they decide they want a do over and Scarlett takes over and starts planning. We once again get to see the St. James and Kingston family in all its glory, I love the tight family bond everyone has.  This book was sweet and spicy just the way I like it.

Honey Cut is the 2nd book in the Lyonesse series and oh my gosh did it blow my mind. This books picks up right where Salt Kiss left off, and it was tense the whole time. Would Mark find out about Tristan and Isolde? Or does he already know? Will things secretly continue? So many questions!!!!! The spice was so good in this book between all three of them. Watching how Tristan kept his feelings for both Isolde and Mark to himself was heartbreaking. And learning more about Isolde and what she did for the church was wild. It’s rare that books surprise me much but Honey Cut did. Towards the end I was reading at a breakneck speeds to find out it was a cliffhanger!!  At first I was frustrated but then after thinking about it, I’m really glad. I need for this story to not be over yet. Things cannot end this way and I’m glad the Sierra Simone knew exactly what we needed. I’ll cant wait for Bitter Burn, I’ll wait patiently like a good girl.

When I say I tore through this, I mean I devoured Salt in the Wound in one afternoon. In this glorious prequel to Salt Kiss we see how Mark and Isolde meet and how their relationship develops before Salt Kiss. Isolde had wanted more than anything to join the church, she felt it was her calling but her father and future husband had other plans. When Isolde’s father told her that he had arranged for her to be married she was furious and upset. When she spoke with her Uncle Mortimer he told her that she could use the position to get information for the church. She could not believe her family wanted her to marry a man who owns a sex club. But what she didn’t realize is how much her body would want the pain and debasement she could give her. Mark had fooled that crushed her. Was any between them thing real? And why did he send Tristian his nephew-in-law to retrieve her?

I was not prepared for how much I loved this book. And I’m so mad at myself for not reading this sooner, because it was a masterpiece! Mark is the Owner of Lyonesse a super secret adult “club” that caters to powerful people all over the world. Mark hires Tristan to be his new bodyguard, and Tristian was not ready for the world he would soon be in. Something about Mark drew Tristan to him and soon Tristan couldn’t stop thinking about being Mark’s submissive. The relationship between the two was amazing and so spicy. Little did Tristan know that while he was having a relationship with Mark, Mark was to be married. This book had twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. I loved the book and you will too!

Dirty Play was my first book by Lexi James, and I was blown away! I loved this book so much, it had a lot of depth and I was a crying mess a few times. Cade lost his sister and always blamed himself. From that day forward he kept people at a distance, not allowing anyone to get close. Now in the NHL he has friends but he won’t allow anyone inside his walls. Gwen is a nurse and has been a part of his friend group for a while and the attraction between the two of them is hot. Cade won’t allow the relationship to turn in to anything because he feels she deserves better. Eventually one night and several drinks later Gwen and Cade finally give in to what they both have been wanting forever! And oh my god, Cade and his absolute filthy mouth was everything every girl could want. Not only is Cade 6ft 4 he is packing, and Gwen was ready for all he had to give. I loved watching Gwen help Cade getting out of his own head and starting to live life. I was rooting for Cade and Gwen throughout the whole book and I’m happy to say we got our HEA. I will absolutely be reading every other book that Lexi has written because her writing is exactly what calls to my reader soul.

Endless Devotion picks up a year in to the future after Reverse Prospective and Sadie, Dean, Mason and Lance are happy and moving on. I would highly recommend reading Reverse Prospective before starting Endless devotion because nothing will make sense otherwise. And again Emily’s writing is great but trigger heavy so make sure to check them thoroughly before reading . Things take a turn and Sadie gets a letter from Leo who SA’d her in book one. She on edge waiting for the other shoe to drop. You know how Sadie has her 3 men who love and adore her? Well the guys rest of the guys in her friend group want her too…. And let me tell you when Sadie shares the fantasies she’s had with all of them with Stacy, it’s agreed that it would be mind blowing! But when Lance, Mason, Dean, Jake, Todd, Ben, Billy and Del find out both girls are down things get H-O-T!! There’s dark things that happen in this book and truths revealed that I did not see coming. Emily somehow packed in so much goodness in to such a short book.
