This is by far one of the best chapter books we’ve ever read as a family. The characters have admirable personality traits, curiosity, love for science, and a big of magic but not in the way that turns off my family member who is very against magic. It’s very clear to the reader the Asia Citro is passionate about science, respect for children, and developing a heart of curiousity while simultaneously keeping the joy of reading alive (for all ages).

The audio is really well done and works wonderfully for an easy to listen book. This would work great as a book to get back into reading or if you just don’t want to shake up your typical reading habits.
