the ending just kind of …happened … which felt be try blah to me. I wanted her to have a badass moment. I wanted the magic system to be more flesh out or for an adventure to find who was writing the original spells to happen. The romance came out of nowhere too.
the pacing of the writing was just all the same. Very choppy with a lot of the same patterns and attempts at drama that fell flat. Great narrator though.
