I'm not going to lie. It was pretty boring. There was nothing really enlightening. It was stuff I already knew. And some of the ways in which the author suggests that people should open up to each other are simply not applicable these days.

It was a pleasant read. Coming from Ion, written by the same author, I was surprised to see that he could write about the subject of love in such a different way, softer and combining all the realms of existence. It's not the Rebreanu I knew from his other book. I encourage anyone to read it. You might fall in love with it.
