I am so bummed I could get into this one, but it did not have me hooked at all and I really didn’t like the side romance plot that was starting to develop.

What a great follow up to The House in the Cerulean Sea! I was so nervous that a sequel wouldn't live up to the love I had for book one, but this by far exceeded my expectations. I just adore these characters so much and I loved the ending that they all got - including David, who was a great addition to the family! This was another solid cozy, comfort fantasy read and I cannot wait to see what comes next from TJ Klune.
