Peaches and her friends, Mango and Pogi live in Pocketon. Taro is a new cat in town and Peaches' wants to befriend her! She decides to invite her to movie night and plans on watching a scary movie - since Taro seems to like scary things. But Peaches actually hates scary things but worries that she won't be able to befriend Taro if she can't like the things she likes.

The art in this full-color graphic novel reminds me of reading the Sunday comics with the characters big expressions and the warm muted colors of the art.

Honestly, I think curiosity is the only thing that kept me reading this and its sequel (like the cliffhanger ending). Personally, it wasn't very memorable for me, but the plot was engaging revolving around secrets and meeting family (who you hadn't known existed) for the first time. The FMC wasn't the most interesting, as she didn't ask enough questions about her own life, but her romantic love interests were classic dark and steamy types.
