My first cowboy romance. It was super sweet, and made me almost cry in some parts. I loved Ada’s journey. Wes fell a little flat for me, but, he’s got the hot cowboy thing going for him.

Sassy street urchin, and reluctant hero, Lift, and her spren, Wyndle are on the run. I really enjoyed their developing relationship, and how Wyndle is so patient with Lift.
Lifts perspective is fantastic, and I look forward to more about her in future books.

A witch, just trying to survive and help rescue other witches from being captured and killed by the blood guard.

A witch hunter trying to find the one who has been outsmarting him, the crimson moth.

A thrilling cat and mouse game with romance, a love triangle, and betrayal.

I loved it.

I loved reading this second book of the Stormlight archive. Shallan’s story made me love her more, it added some mystery to the book. Daddy dalinar is my dude. I love renarin even more, and Adolin grew on me. Kaladin is always a fav.  Can’t wait to start book 3

I’m interested in reading the other books. While this one was a novella, there’s so much world building packed in it. It doesn’t feel rushed, and I really enjoyed it.

So, a girl named Cinnamon, who comes from a family of spice farmers in the bayou, happens across a demon who needs help.
The premise was cute, but there were some things I just could not over look.
The way it feels like a modern fantasy, with modern language, and things, but then it’s also in a village with people wearing cloaks. The use of modern language, like “oh cool” annoyed me to no end.
It was a short book, but man oh man it dragged for me.
It definitely gives “touch her and die” energy, if you’re into that.
Very choppy and I just couldn’t wait to get it over with.

So, I’m glad I didn’t read this one first, even though it’s book 1. I liked this one, but it was a rough start. The lack of consent in the start of the book put me off a bit, but I powered through. I really liked the characters, and understanding the different alien culture that the other books only gloss over.
I felt the writing was a bit clunky in this one, but the other books in the series are much improved in that regard. I’d almost start with book 2 and then read this one.

An exciting second book where we learn more about Lyle. Really enjoyed it overall. The pacing got slow in the middle, but near the end it picked up and things got very interesting. Excited to see what happens in book 3. Thank you Ektaa for the ARC :)

Fast paced Norse romantasy. Brutal, as expected, but very good. A wee bit predictable, but I’d read the next book for sure.

I liked it, but didn’t love it. It felt like it was too long. The pacing got slow towards the end. It took me a lot longer to read this book than the others. I didn’t feel as connected to these characters like I did in the other books I read.
It was nice to finish the series, and  the loose ends were all tied up.
