This was not my fave JLA book. The pop culture references were so overdone. The story was somewhat predictable as well. It did get better towards the end so I will be continuing the series.

This book I enjoyed a bit more than the previous one. The pacing was quite good and the story got quite interesting. Though I did predict most of it.

I don’t want to come across as ruthless in this review but it is what it is. This trilogy was just not for me.
First of all… the covers! Why? It looks like mermaids, it’s not.
Second of all… Ivy seems like the undeveloped version of Poppy and I’m just not sure why. She’s literally a half ling that gets saved by feeding of her bf. Sounds familiar?
The last 70 pages were quite good and I feel like the story had the potential but just never went where it needed to be.
