This kicked up a lot of dirt for me. I identified with so very much of this book being from the "working white". I am, however, very much against Christian Nationalism. Which seems to be his conclusion to our country and economic group's problems.

Not very well written, I was hoping for a bit more deep dive. Very intelligent men, so I was hoping for more.

Raw and beautiful. Deeply important. A must-read for those brave enough to do so.

Exceptional. Even as someone who doesn't enjoy YA, this was one of the best books. So very important.

Ah - Toni Morrison. So many try to emulate, so many come up short. Love the writing, enjoyed The Bluest Eye more though.
