I am deducting one whole ☆ because of shit like this:
I pulled her to me once I was on my feet, hoisting her up in my arms. She must’ve weighed a little over one hundred pounds, not an ounce of fat anywhere on her. She wasn’t too hard to carry out of the kitchen and up the stairs.
I am deducting another ☆ because the author repeats herself all the time. Yes, we know Ash and her mother was poor and Ash needed to help out. We know what colour the MC's eyes are. We KNOW how lean Declan is and how big Sawyers muscles are. We KNOW how weird and creepy Travis' family business is. We get it!
I cannot read about it any more. Does this book series not have an editor? Alpha-team? Beta-team?! What is going on?!
Not speaking to your best friend because she slept with a guy you maybe liked, but she didn't know who he was is not a vibe, Ash. The same was not helping Brooklyn in the car scene in the parking lot. Not. A. Vibe. Do better, Ash. Every main character can do better.

Some of the revenge scenes was kind of childish tho. Would expect more from people in college. And I think the two first book could have been added together.
Still, diving right into #3!

Nothing major happened, no gore or spice or violence. But I'm still left with an eerie feeling. Something unsettling. I cannot wait to jump into book #2!

My low rating isn't only because of the obviously plagiarism, but also because of how stupid the plot is.
A girl wakes up in a foreign bed with no memory and a butler says she signed a contract, which she also have no memory of, stating she has to serve the three heirs.
If would have made sense if the book took place in the year 1800. It would actually be a pretty interesting book!
But there is no way ever that contract would hold up in any court. It's mentioned multiple times throughout the book by all the POV that the contract is "ironclad" and "enforceable" and she and Athena's mother would probably die if she broke the contract. It's so laughable that I can't really believe someone wrote this.
Athena is also said to be a very strong girl, both physically and mentally. But she crumbles too fast for my liking.
The book is also full of inconsistencies. First one of the MMC's father is said to be dead, but in the next chapter he is alive.....??
I suffer from ocd and fomo so I will be reading the other books in the series, even tho this book made me roll my eyes like never before.
The spice is on fire tho. If you like humiliation this book is for you.

This is the BEST hs bully/enemies-to-lovers I have EVER read!!!
Even the B- and C-plot is amazing! That isn't often....
The book's kinda pg-rated, but it's a slowburn and it does pick up a little after a while.
My girl Blue can get through this ✊️

I have a love/hate relationship with this series.
I'm not a fan of the author's writing style. Her L.O.R.D.S-books are hard to read, but not because the writing is "difficult". It's just badly written. I have to read dozens of sentences multiple times and even then they don't always make sense. Her descriptions of people and the world surrounding them is also.. off. She's not giving us anything to work with and some things changes every time. I still don't understand how Carnage looks like. (In my head) it changes from being a bunker to a skyscraper to a small town. Which is it??
I'm not the only one complaining about the author's writing style because after every book there's a dozen post on the author's SoMe asking what the plot was and what they're missing 😂
We're also been told through the last 3 books that "The Lords" are the most powerful people in the world (lol). But suddenly the Kings in Las Vegas can match their powers? Okay...
The author is also not a girl's girl. No FMC have a single thought behind their eyes. They HAVE been going to the university for four years, but I guess nothing really stuck?
I totally understand the vibe Carnage's suppose to give, but I don't understand why the women can't be powerful in the end?
The SA's of the women in this series is also off the charts!! Like, can we dial it down? The scenes screams "written for shock value".
In the next books I NEED the characters to question the Lords! WHY do they follow the rules? WHO'S giving the instructions??
Why am I giving it four stars when I have so much to rant about? Because the romance was cute and seemed real.
Ashtyn is my favourite of all the FMC in this series. There is just something about her 🥺 Saint's my favourite after Ryat.
The 🌶 is unreal in this and definitely one of my faves😏

Book one startet so strong I gave it a 5/5⭐️. No idea how the author could miss the mark on the series finale by this much.

Starting book #3 right away because I need answers. Is Hunter innocent? Will Blue do what Vin told her?
The secret West wouldn't talk about was obvious from the start and the secret was laaaaaame af. Kinda disappointing.

Fluffy ńôn -çoņ indeed. Chase knows what he wants, and it's May 👀👀
Even tho the book is full of 🌶 Raissa and Addison bring up some very real issues. May is half Chinese/American living in America with her American dad.
Chase is Chinese but have lived a long time in London before moving to Bristol.
Deep down May and Chase bonds over being "different" than the society around them. Chase even helps May with learning chinese, a language May's not fluent in after her mum left her.
I'm terrified of Drake but also sooo intrigued. He seems like Hunter&Chase combined 😩
Poor Baba. And I hate Stef🙂
