Before I say what I thought, I will admit that this was my first dark romance. Now, with that said, this bored me. It felt extremely predictable and I couldn't get past the author's very cringe-worthy obsession with using modern slang/vocab. I found both characters to be hard to like. The romance felt very flat and "mid." The second half also felt like an entirely different story which led to a huge disconnect for me personally. I'm an odd ball out, but this was very "meh" to read.

Probably my favorite Freida read so far. This was a quick read that was entertaining and kept me on my toes.
