I unfortunately did DNF this just over half way and it pained me to do so as I was so looking forward to reading this and trying a new genre. Westerns are something I’ve never really been much into but this plot sounded fab and feminist and I have to say it really was! It just came down to the fact that once the story took off and we saw more of the cowboy/gang/western come through I found myself not really wanting to read on. Usually after the halfway mark I would force myself to finish any book no matter how I was finding it but this year I’m really trying to spend my time reading what I enjoy because after all that’s the whole point of a hobby
