The Assassin's Blade by Sarah J. Maas

I actually read this book before all of the other books not knowing it was the novella (whoops) but it actually helped clear up some things in the following books! his novella got me hooked into the series. I loved how the book was split up into little stories. Of course seem of the plot holes were obvious here and there, but Sarahs books will always be my guilty pleasures!

Was an okay read, I thought the topic was overused (at least for me) I don't have a distaste for this book, just was kinda blah for me, I do not have much interest in reading the other books in the series.

Now I'm going to try my hardest to not say spoilers but one thing i have to say wow. After all of the books in this series I was sad to turn the last page of the book. When I first started this series it was 2 years ago, I had fallen in love with the characters and world that Sarah J Maas had created. Every book was good on its own (although I had some issues with each here and there but I love them regardless) At first I just wanted to get the book over with it, let's be honest at least half of us were thinking that when we started this book, I mean it's almost 1,000 pages. but when I really started to get into the book, I refused to put it down. Yes, this book made me emotional at many points, to the point of crying (if you read it you know what I'm talking about). I think my only main issue is in this book the some of the romantic relationships seemed forced; don't get me wrong I'm all for the ships and all but it becomes a bit of an issue when literally everyone is hooking up and it derives from the main plot. needless to say an amazing book that will always have a special place in my heart, and lastly, I want to say thank you Sarah J. Maas for creating this world, for letting me fall back in love with reading, to inspiring countless other including myself to rattle the stars. With that, I hope others can enjoy this series as much as I did
