At this time in my life the book was too triggering for me but I do hope to one day be in a place where I can finish it because I love Jax as a book boyfriend

I found myself screaming (mentally) at the characters alot which I mean is good because you know you are invested in them but also at the same time it was because how stupid they were acting or thinking so it did get a bit annoying. But I definitely liked this one better than the first book.

I found the fmc to be really annoying for the majority of the book. I'm not sure if it was just the narrator who did her voice for the audiobook or if in writing she is the same. But I almost dnf'd the book because of her. The only thing that kept me going was the mmc's narrator, Aiden Snow (god his voice is amazing).

It could be that I did this as an audiobook but I found it very hard to keep track of and know what was going on. All of the Greek mythology and world building and intertwining with the real world and locations of a city I've never had much interest in. It was hard to follow and way too much was going on.

There was alot in there that I found to just be filler. It didn't really add to the book in any way other than beating a point to death. But the few spicy scenes were good. Not a book I'd read again but a good palette cleanser.
