This was such a fun read to listen to! I loved that we had a story of Obi-Wan and Anakin at this particular time in the timeline! We have so few stories from after TPM and before AOTC.

Intense wow! This volume was SO good! The more and more we learn about the Syndicate, the more questions I have!

As I see others reviews have said, this is geared towards the younger side of YA, but it was still a pleasant read.

So entertaining! As a huge Buffy fan, this was such a pleasure to listen to. The vibes of the Buffyverse were captured perfectly. This definitely felt like it could’ve been a really good plot for a season of the show! It was so nice hearing some of the cast members back in their iconic roles!

The story picks up right where we left off in Book 1 and it was full speed ahead from Chapter 1!

The story follows Astraea as she tries to learn about her past self and gain her memories back. I love that we got introduced to more celestials like Auster and his siblings. It was intriguing seeing her interact with people that know everything about her past self. I can’t imagine how frustrating that could be when all the answers to her questions were right there. I really liked that everyone wanted her to be able to gain these memories back slowly and on her own. Nyte showing her past memories of them was everything! Their love truly is timeless.

I also liked that Nyte is still set up as the villain. Although, Astraea understands this she still will do all in her power to protect him from leaving.

Reading about Althenia was so amazing. I loved seeing this work expand and learn more about it plus about Astraea’s past.

So much happened in this story, especially in the last part. I could not put the book down! I had to know how this all ended! I’m so nervous and excited to see how this story progresses in the next book!

I received this book via the publisher on NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

A good continuation of where we left off in The Forest Grimm. This definitely felt way slower than Book 1. The story really started pacing super slow halfway through, but I wanted to see what happened.

This duology had an interesting concept, but something felt missing in the story telling. It felt very jumpy and a bit all over the place at times. I did find myself having to re-read parts to understand what was going on.

I definitely still recommend this duology! It still was a fun journey!

Jimmy’s Mom and Rachel’s Mom making appearances always means a funny good story coming.

I’m happy to see the Syndicate plot returning again. I am so invested to see what happens!
