I loved the concept and the poet clearly cared deeply about the subject and the work itself. However, the collection itself wasn’t for me. I struggled to connect with any of the poems and none of the really stood out to me as fantastic. It was tragically forgettable. 

That being said, I look forward to seeing what the poet does in the future as I can see her growing into a very strong poet. I will definitely give any new releases a try, especially if they are of similar themes.
