I love this representation of a visibly-trans character, and especially that the character is a Jewish transwoman union organiser!

For most of the book: wow this is so gay. The end of the book: oh, sad and gay

I really liked this, but if there’s one thing I hate, it’s when there’s a story where the main conflict is that the MCs don’t communicate well and don’t talk about what their problems are, and instead just sleep together to avoid talking, then when we get to the end of the boom and the MCs finally come together to finally talk and resolve their problem… they just sleep together again. Please actually talk!!!!

I feel like this and On the Same Page are the English and American sides to the same coin, which is a good thing! I wasn’t a huge fan of how their friendship broke up, which soured the middle of the book a bit, but by the end I was right back on board.

One of the funniest books I’ve ever read! A brilliant twist on the enemies to lovers trope

Very sweet, and pretty low angst.
