A bit confusing at first, totally engrossing through the middle and heading into the end, but... I hated the end. The last 3-5 chapters: Painful. Forced. Repetitive. Disappointingly cliche and trite.

3.5
Having read Untamed first, and knowing "how the story ends," Love Warrior fell flatter for me. Still, Glennon Doyle has a true gift for delivering mic-drop-style honesty that cuts straight to the heart. Many of her own personal observations resonate so crisply with the larger human condition, most especially the experiences of the female, buffeted by the unapologetic and conflicting messages of our culture from her earliest awareness, forming a psyche that may never allow her to accept--let alone love--herself.
I remain awed by Glennon Doyle and her work as an empathetic truth-teller and guiding light for how to live in harmony with body, mind, and spirit, as one in ourselves and as part of the human race. Hers is writing to read again and again.

Engrossing multi-narrator fiction story woven around one of the country's worst school accidents. The characters made the book--some you love, some you hate. A few mature scenes, done tactfully and authentically. I would have no problem with either of my teens reading this. I'm fact, I would encourage them to. I'll be watching for more to come from Ashley Hope Perez.

It was alright. Still waiting for one to rival One of Us is Lying.

Was reading to decide if it was a good addition for a class novel. I don't think it would hit. Interesting story, but too documentary-ish.

A good read and I loved that it was something different. Lacked the level of action I was hoping would make it a hit with my more reluctant readers. I'm not honestly sure I fully understood the end.

But of a slow-starter, wicked twist in the middle. Interesting resolution, but I didn't care for the narrative method to end it. Overall, still a really good read!

I tore through this mystery pretty quickly... Enjoyed the shifting narrative pov between protagonist and investigative podcast transcript trailing the protagonist by several months, and while Sadie's grit and actions seemed a bit exaggerated to be realistic, I still found her character and her conflict compelling and immersing.

4.5 Stars!

I LOVED this book... all the way to the very end. The ending was a little lost on me, but otherwise, I loved the characters, the multiple meanings of the title as the book unfolded, the interesting plotting and character/conflict development... all of it! HIGHLY recommend!
