This is my first book by this author, and certainly not my last. The writing was so poetic that I sometimes forgot it was a deep south murder mystery. Mixed in with rooted racial issues and the good old Christianity people run to as an excuse. I didn't want to stop reading. This book is a work of art, and most likely, I will end up rereading it again.

What can I say, I've never read a book by Jennifer Hillier that wasn't a 5 star from me. Stalking, sex addiction, kidnapping, and a twist. Perfection!

This was a dark Scooby-Doo episode. 15 years ago, at a summer camp, three girls went missing, never to be seen again. Leaving their roommate to suffer guilt for years. Until she is invited back to the camp only to discover the truth about that night is a lie.

I don't really know what to write. My jaw is still on the floor. The book was nonstop action.

This was a very slow burn, but it was great. The last 4 chapters were just mind-blowing. Once again, Ruth Ware doesn't disappoint.

Alice Feeney is one of my auto authors. This means that as soon as she has a new book out, I get it as soon as possible. Now that I'm more into booktok & bookstagram. I often look up spoiler free reviews. Many for this book where things like, "Disappointed.", "Saw it coming from a mile away.", "A waste of time." So I was really kinda apprehensive about starting this book.
Did I know what was going on by page 20? Yes. Did I stop reading? No. Was this book a disappointment? Absolutely not!
Daisy Darker was an amazing story of a family who all held a dark secret. Who all would pay for it. The writing was captivating, and the story itself kept me hooked even if I saw how it would end.

What can I say? I was shocked. I was surprised. My jaw dropped in multiple occasions. I didn't want to stop reading. A mother protecting her daughter from the truth. A daughter angry her life ruined from all the lies. An innocent son just wanting to know about the truth.

At first, this book seemed like it was heading towards a DNF. Then, as I kept going, it seemed almost like I couldn't get enough! At times, I myself get like I needed to be in the phsyc ward. And when I found out there were two more books in the series! "When is hell run." Run, I will straight to the sequel.
