This book started off very interesting, slows down, then picks up again.
Mercer is a widow haunted by the passing of her husband and young daughter due to a car wreck. When her friend Katherine gives her a chance to write a true crime book about Ashlyn, a woman currently on trial for the murder of her two year old daughter.

A group of friends go away to a Greek island to get away. To confront an issue. To plot and carry out a murder. This book had a good many twist and turns. A quick read with a great ending. If you have the opportunity to listen to the audio book it takes it to another level.

I wanted to like it more, but I couldn't. A group of friends (frienemies) reunite at the old snow/ski resort where they once trained and competed. Minus two: one who suffered a life-altering injury, the other who went missing.
The reunion turns sour once the group realizes they didn't know who invited them. They don't know why. They don't even know if they will make it out alive.
Although it was a great story, I felt it played out flatly. Still worth a read, though.

I love a rich family drama! Three siblings and their partners go to their parents for Easter dinner. The next morning the parents are found brutally and violently murdered. Knowing that the siblings stand to inherit a lot of money from the death of their father, detectives chase whatever leads they can. Now the siblings come together to support each other as each are being questioned by police. But each of them is also blaming the other.
