This was a very interesting concept for a thriller and just a book in general. D.I.D is something I would like to learn more about but it was very unusual to see it in a book. The suspense in this book was great. I enjoyed the characters banter back and forth and the way that the characters grew and developed.

For some reason I couldn’t get into this book like I wanted to, I had a hard time following along but the story was interesting, the parts that I could follow. I couldn’t really tell you what the book was about other than women surviving.

I enjoyed this McFadden book, it wasn’t my favorite but there were some good twist and turns. I think I’ve read so many of her books at this point I can start to predict some of the twists. But the story was really good and an interesting concept. It was a good quick read!

Okay, towards the beginning i would have easily given h this book 2 starts, I wanted to punch both of them in the face really hard but then you actually start seeing the hurt behind everything they are doing and it all starts to make sense. This book is about how communication is key in any relationship especially when you are going to spend the rest of your life with someone. These characters grew on me toward the end and at some points I was actually smiling along with the main characters. Towards the end I decided it needed more than 2 stars so I’m giving it 3.75!! All in all it’s a cute, relatable read that reminds us that sometimes we get love at first sight, but then life, family, lack of communication, resentment, etc, can blind us so we can’t see that love anymore. But with communication, vulnerability, compassion, second chances, and digging way down deep to find that love again, you can get it back as a team, partners, best friends for life!

I really enjoyed this book, it had twists and turns and horror aspects but also a sweet story about finding your family! I didn’t know how I felt about it at the beginning but I ended up throughly enjoying it!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It was a piece of American history that I had never learned about before. The way it was written, I couldn’t put it down! It kept me engaged and I learned without feeling like I was learning! The author did a great job writing this book!

Sooooo this was a very strange book. If you just read the main series you will be fine not reading this book. There should have been a trigger warning at the beginning of the book because there were some very uncomfortable parts that made me squirm. I feel like this could have still been written in a way that did not make you feel so uncomfortable….

It was a good story, kind of cheesy, but I enjoyed the story! I’m excited to learn more about Hades and Persephone.

I really enjoyed how different this book was. It had a great story and I enjoyed learning about this new universe. I’m very interested to see what happens next!
