A little too long, a little too much underlining of the main characters’ differing personalities.

Delightful breezy read while recovering from surgery.

Light, fairly implausible read about wealthy New Yorkers who experiment with attending sex parties. Kinda perfect for Christmas week.

Bleak, intense and visceral.

Quick, kind of dumb read.

Just stunning. I can’t wait to read Strong’s other novels.

Really well written, fun read about beautifully flawed characters.

Her Country: How the Women of Country Music Became the Success They Were Never Supposed to Be

DID NOT FINISH: 31%

Good god, the writing here is horrendous. Marissa Moss appears to be an excellent reporter, but the writing is clunky and leaden, and the structure is bewildering. Really disappointing.
