Ruthless Fae by Susanne Valenti, Caroline Peckham

I REALLY want to like these books. I really do. But they are beyond confusing. And very slow. Nothing really happens until the end. And they try to leave you on a cliffhanger but they're not suspenseful enough to make me want to immediately grab the next one and read it. I heard they get better after the 3rd book so I may try the 3rd one in a month or so but right now I'm going to wait.

This book was such a good book. I feel so bad for her. I hate that she went through all that she did. I am so beyond proud of her for getting the help she needed. It's never too late to get help. Sometimes, you have to hit rock bottom first. I 100% recommend everyone to read this book.

I knew it! I knew to hold out hope for Logan. I knew he truly loved her. I was NOT expecting Hadley and Jake to hook up much less get married. And she is crazy. Her anniversary present is getting to stab someone every year. That's not strange at all.

Omg he found out!!!! And Jake was right. He didn't choose her. And he had sex with her before ditching her. That was low and I thought he was better than that. I hope he redeems himself. I think he got scared about how much he actually loved her and she is the killer he's hunting.

I am so glad Hadley is helping Lana. And Jake is very convincing. I am so worried on what is going to happen when Logan finds out. And that town is SO corrupt. How have the people let the Sheriff control so much and not think anything was off about that?

These cliff hangers have got to stop. I have other books I would like to read but I can't. I was not wanting to take on a new series until I finished one of the 3 I already had going. Lana Lana Lana. You got yourself caught by the Boogyman. You of all people should know how their mind works. You should have went in prepared. Logan you just let her go home ALONE. The monster got what he deserved. And I am dying to know detailed what happened in Delaney Grove. Lindy and Laurel did great. I feel like Hadley is going to be the one that discovers Lana.

That cliff hanger. I need more back story. And tbh I hope Logan let's her go when/if he finds out. And I hope she kills all the bastards that hurt her and her brother. And Hadley needs to mind her own business and stop abusing her power. She is literally a rip off of penelope from criminal minds.

This was a great book. 4.5 stars. Idk how she pulled it off for sure. But Kya was a beast. And Chase was scum and got what he deserved. Jumpin and Mabel were amazing. I was so mad that everyone just abandoned her. Even Jodie. But I am glad Jodie came back. I can't believe her other siblings didn't look for her. How do you abandon your 6 year old sibling with an abusive drunk. They knew was Pa was like and left anyways. Tate was the only one who really loved her other than Jumpin and Mabel.

This book was an amazing start to 2023. Picked it up because I generally enjoy ready Colleen Hoover books. But the shock and emotion in this book was beyond what I expected. This book comes in as my 2nd favorite by her but only to Verity. 

I LOVED MILLER. He was so amazing. And the proposal had me crying. I loved all the characters. I screamed when I linked that Elijah was Chris baby not Jonah's. Jenny was wrong for that. And Morgan was an amazing mother through and through. And bless Clara. Idk if I could have gone through was she did. I kept yelling for Morgan to just tell Clara. Also, I got a bone to pick with Morgan cause I want to know what was in the dang letters!!!!!

Loved this book. Jace was my favorite. Don't get me wrong Reed, Alec, and Cole all have their pluses but I'm a sucker for golden retriever energy.
