Tugs at the heard. Great historical fiction, staying accurate in details while pulling at out heart in all the war stories left untold. Great for children, my daily could not put it down and to be honest neither could I.
So perfectly written, you love the realness of the characters they aren't perfect they are people trying to survive and understand the world around them.
She clearly has a voice and an audience. That audience is not me. However it did allow me to question how I read things and definitely be more forgiving on what is feminism and who with it.
Disappointing. Good stories at the beginning, great visualization always loved essays in the first person but after a while it just seems to be the same story over again. No depth in character just the same
Story again.
Story again.
