Feels weird to rate this book...

Its a love letter and thank you letter to a mother from a daughter trying to cope with her lost

Some parts were extremely gut wrenching and I found myself almost crying, however the mention of many foods, flavors and seasonings made the topic less feel deep.

This is personal, from Michelle to her mom. Hence why I cannot understand the meaning behind the food and rather than helping me picture the connection between them, it was distracting. Nevertheless, it was beautifully written.
