I cannot believe I used to think this and the Hollow Places were great horror. But hey they are at least a decent intro to the genre. Still interested in the ways those books mirror each other tho.
Also a note for this book in particular, any authors looking to write a book with a character who lives in or around Pittsburgh, look up 'Pittsburgh dialect' before saying we use creek instead of crick.
