Surprising, this book was better then I remembered. The prose is nice, the characters are well established, and it lacks the monotony that I associate with the rest of the series

The Raven Cycle is one of those series where the characters are really the only reason I kept reading. I believe I read the Raven Boys and the Dream Thief back to back the summer before I started HS. Maybe earlier. I can't tell you the plot of this book, and I can barely tell the plots of any of the other books. They were slow and boring and had I not fallen in love with the charatcers, I would have dnf'd the entire series.
The characters alone earn it a three stars.
