I really enjoy Virgil and I'm so glad I have more Sanford books to read. I can't wait to read what happens next even though this case wasn't my favorite

I really enjoyed this first book on Virgil Flowers and I honestly like him a little more than Lucas . My first prey books I didn't like Lucas at all but enjoyed the stories, by now I've read enough to actually care about Lucas but overall this was a good start to a series and will be reading simultaneously with the Davenport one

I really enjoyed this book! There were a lot of deaths but it felt lighter than others in this series and I really enjoyed it

This was one of my favorites in the series and it showed me clearly that I prefare cases that aren't conspiracy based, the last one was so boring to me but I really enjoyed this one

I love Lucas and I'm enjoying his new job title but as much as I enjoyed John Sanford's writing I just didn't care about this case or anything or anyone around it

I didn't like this storyline the first time it showed up in the series and I didn't like it this time around but I didn't hate it and I loved the recurring and new characters so it wasn't all bad

I seem to have a problem with how Mr Sandford ends his books because I'm always a bit annoyed with his endings.
I would've given this a 5 but the las 4 chapters annoyed me too much

This is my first Emily Henry book and even though I enjoyed the style of writing and found the characters nice, overall I thought the pace was slow and it was just an ok book. I'm no sure if my reaction is because my expectations were too high or if I just was a little bored at times but I enjoyed it enough that I would give this writer another chance
