I hated this book so much that it deserves an amazing review.

How do I even start explaining what I mean? The characters were so well written that I was disgusted by Savio, hated Diego, hit my head against the wall because of Gemma, shouted at Nonna, etc.

The writing style itself was so good, and the book was nowhere near boring, BUT it mostly focuses on the (nonexistent) romance between the FMC & MMC so no action with the Camorista and more times than not that you'd want to personally go info their world and f- them up because what the fuck (?)

I suggest going over the trigger warnings once, twice & thrice before ever deciding to start this book.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE BOOK.
I FELL IN LIVE WITH ROMAN AND NINA.
ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE AND CUTE AND BADASS.

Marriage of convenience with love at first sight. The Russian pakhan and the blackmailed daughter of the guy who stole from the bratva. Iconic.

I'd have given it 5☆ if the problems I found with the book weren't so repetitive or a one time mistake. The writing was rushed like the author procrastinated the book until the last second. "A full length novel" my ass. It felt more like a novella between books.

I am writing this review in tears.

I'm going to start with the downside of this book. It was average. In a few hours, I'll forget the names of the characters. It isn't as memorable as it seems. There were also certain writing in the book, which I didn't like at all, so I definitely wouldn't be recommending this book.

However, if that's something you're looking for - a fast read, fun, a dose of real-life plot - this is for you.

It's your average single dad hockey player whose daughter is his whole world. It's your local spitfire who doesn't believe in love and never wants children. The romance is beautiful and the plot is clearer that it would usually be in books like this.

Cheers to Aarya, Guiliana, Annie, Alexander & McKinley.

Ali cat. Girl. Gimme more. You can't just leave me hanging like that after that ending.

Misery & Lowe would die for each other but stumble over their words because the other looks PWETTY... that's a need.

I didn't like how the third act started basically. Sans spoilers: it's not my type of "finding their way back to each other" scene, but it was okay.

I loved seeing adult characters acting like adult characters, taking responsibility, being in control of their emotions. It's not something that authors usually allow in their books I don't know why.

Honestly, at times I was bored and skipping words, sentences or paragraphs, but the plot kept me hooked nonetheless.

This book was so good... until they threw me off so far, I couldn't see the start line.

I also planned to read the first two books of the series until, halfway through the book, I deleted them and decided to forgo this idea.

This book is rated the highest and the other two just don't seem as appealing anymore (after finishing this book and while I was reading it with them throwing all the spoilers in my face).

Do check the trigger warnings first.
