NIX & KENZ!!!

After reading the Deception trilogy, I was obsessed and needed a book with a similar plot. The FMC loses her memory and falls for the MMC all over again, when he starts treating her right from the beginning this time around, only for her to regain her memories and realise that a lot has been done and said.

The only downside is the author's obsession with breaking the fourth wall. I don't need Ryan Reynolds and Harry Potter references while I'm trying to escape reality.

⚠️ZIONIST AUTHOR⚠️ Mossad mentioned @ 93%

Funny enough, the book was already shit. Everyone in the comments claiming the MMC redeems himself... bitch WHERE??? FMC literally started waking up to his shit treatment 90% into the book so obv minimal grovelling and no note worthy love declaration.

Not saying I expected flowers and a boombox, just that the man gets away with so much & the woman lives in la la land.

To end this with a direct attack at the author (which i never do but like hear me out it's funny), the first time I read the author's name i thought it said "kol khara". It's funny because it means "eat shit" in Arabic, and it's even funnier now because the Isnotrealis stole this phrase from us too 😂

It's been a while since I've read a fluffy book with characters as deeply devoted as them with an enchanting magical plot that gets you carried away recalling all your princesses and fairy godmothers childhood stories.

WHAT THE FUCK, RUNYX? I TRUSTED YOU AND I WAS PATIENT AND THE PUBLISHING GOT PUSHED A HUNDRED TIMES ONLY FOR YOU TO TRY TO PROVE A STUPID POINT OF YOURS???

I have SO many issues with this book. Where do I even start?
1. The book started off looking like it was written by a man. When did we get back to talking about women that way in books WRITTEN BY WOMEN?
2. Lmao I basically skimmed through all Dainn and Luna povs they were TALKING TOO MUCH I don't even know how to explain it so consider this a very subjective opinion you can discard: they piss me off, they talk too much, they're so fake & their personalities stop with their trauma... in no way am I belittling trauma but it quite literally like they intentionally relive it
3. It's the fact that every chapter had "Tristan always deserved so much better" from different povs, but then Runyx self-hatred made an appearance and decided to endlessly ruin his life by making sure Dainn comes on top (???)
4. I'm fighting my way through reading this book coherently because apparently there was no time for proofreading for spelling mistakes and missing words
5. Four consecutive smut chapters... are we writing a book or are we ticking scenes off a checklist?
6. The scenes were all biasedly written for Luna & Dainn. It was as if the author intentionally brought down her other characters in favour of these two.
7. Why did she have to make out Tristan as the bad guy? The guy who put off marriage. The guy who isn't attentive to his girl (anymore at least). The guy who is so off putting in this book. THE GUY WHO "beyestakhsar" (no english translation ouch) AND DOESNT EVER SAY I LOVE YOU TO MORANA LIKE WHY. It's unbelievable really
8. I have to recomment on how the book was obv not read through by anyone whod notice all these spelling mistakes like yeah we all accidentally type heating instead of hearing sometimes but its too much and too often i find words that if it were skimmed through after the chapter was done or written with a few extra brain power they couldve been avoided
9. Tristan has alaays been my favourite, but she put him in SUCH A BAD LIGHT throughout this book that I'm here to talk about things he did that pissed me off. WHATS WRONG WITH BALANCING OUT THE RELATIOSHIP WITH A SIMPLE "I LOVE YOU"??? OR A TEAR WHEN SHE WALKS DOWN THE AISLE? OR, I DOMT KMOW, A RING??? Highly disappointed. Morana settled and not in a good way.

Now, this I DID like:
1. TristanMorana
2. Domestic TristanMorana w/ Xander
3. Domestic DanteAmara w/ Tempest
4. Domestic AlphaZephyr
5. TristanMorana again
6. Xander
7. Baby Tempest
8. XanderTempest, TristanAmara & DanteMorana siblinghood
9. TristanDanteAlpha & MoranaAmaraZephyr friendship
10. the very final chapter

It is so bittersweet finally closing this book and this series. It has been years and years. Unfortunately, we cant have everything we ask for but im glad i was here and high on the seratonin even if for such a short time.

I feel like 3 stars is a generous rating.

Here's the gist. The book title has nothing to do with the book. The story is not realistic. It goes too fast when it needs to take its time and too slow when it doesn't.

Ryder, the F1 racer who makes it his whole personality to be, what, naive? Play dumb? Wrong people for a living? And Greer, who's whole personality is "i will not let him get to me" but then the next second without an apology, an explanation he gets to her and she cries and let's the shit he does slide.

In all honesty, the idea was new and the book was good but the amount of unnecessary scenarios in there were just a downer.

I wouldn't suggest this book, but it's readable in the sense that it'll pass by fast and easily.

[Sobs] their story was so good.

As repetitive as this genre is, and as cliche as they are related to Crew's and Scarlett's book, I loved them and their banter and their stories.

The only downside was that it felt that the information that needed tike to settle didn't take its time. Rushed.

I want to follow their story still. Can't wait for kit's book!

Up until the 50% mark, I didn't really like the book. It's average and I thought I'd hate it.

Then I was proved wrong. This romance is what everyone dreams of. They communicate, they fight, but the make up. Their relationship and their problems are real and not over exaggerated.

I fell in love with Scarlett & Crew fast and you would too.

Why is it not spicy?

I'd want to follow their story though.

THEY WERE SO FUN TOGETHER.

Hear me out, the book is not memorable. The writing is good but needs proofreading (i kept going back to make sure who we were talking about / where we are / what was originally happening) and the story went by too fast.

But the book was funny, the MCs were lovable and the idea youthful.

PS If you're expecting spice, you're only getting everything nice.

Where do I begin?

MMC (Reed) is more than adorable. He's blind when it comes to his girl (Tess) and would genuinely cater to her. BUT THEN he's so hotheaded and emotional that he chose all the wrong options and claimed it was out of a broken heart. Do you seriously want me to believe that someone who loves and worships his girl this much just ups and leaves this easily and does all these disgusting actions??? Hell no.

Then comes Tess. She's a sweet smart strong woman who's independent but was torn down over the years by everyone around her especially her parents. BUT THEN she's victimised herself even when she could've just walked away and let Reed victimise her to other people only to come back and do the same to her every 3 years and leave.

They're fucked up. They're sweet and perfect. They're overreacting about everything and leave at the littlest inconvenience. They're pissing me the fuck off.

At least the plot is rich, the found family is cosy & the love is strong.
