I read this more quickly than Book 2 in the series {The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe}-So I'm hoping my reading slump's finally coming to an end! πŸ‘€

This is Book 3 for me {See my review of The Magician's Nephew for more info} & is another fun instalment within the Narnia universe-Beginning with new characters on their own journeys & then, as usual, linking in with characters & stories from the previous Books. πŸ˜‰

I'm halfway through re-reading this series now-& I'm enjoying my walk down memory lane! ☺️ Onto the next Book; Prince Caspian. πŸ‘πŸ½

I re-read this {Book 4 in the chronological reading order} fairly quickly, as I'm well into this series now. πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ½

It's another fun adventure in Narnia-This time with the children from the 2nd Book {The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe} back *ages* after {In Narnian years} their previous visits. πŸ˜‰ It also, obviously, involves Prince Caspian & his story.

I preferred this to Book 3 {The Horse and His Boy}, as it was more fast paced & there was a lot more to the story. πŸ‘πŸ½

Onto re-reading Book 5; The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader. βš“οΈ

Well it took me 3 months, but I *finally* finished this Book! πŸ‘€ So that's it for me & this series for a while! 😭

I won't go into the story too much, as it's a sequel & the finale {Of this particular story arc}. πŸ‘ŒπŸ½ But it continues straight on from the events in Book 2 & of course continues the story, picks up with all of the characters & has, again, a lot of action & Fae hijinks! πŸ˜‰

*However* the first 2 Books were 5🌟s for me & the reason this one wasn't {& why it took me longer to finish it} was because I got half way through & then lost the will to read it as much! πŸ˜•

There just aren't {For me} as many twists & turns, surprises & intrigue in this one. There's also {Again} a lot of repetition of certain words & phrases {E.G; Mate, hissed, growled} & constant descriptions of everyone's beauty & love for each other that just started to grate on me after a while! 😐

But I still enjoyed this Book & I'm looking forward to reading the other Books that {I think} are going to be set in the same Universe as this, but following different story arcs. 😊

Just finished re-reading this Book {Book 5 in the reading order of the series} & it's another fun adventure. πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ½ This time involving lots of travelling all around other lands {As you'd expect, being set mostly on a Ship!} & some unique experiences! β›΅οΈπŸŒŠ

I've 2 Books left to read in this series & unlike like the others, I've never read them before. Also, unlike 2 of the 5 Books I've read so far {The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe & this one} there are no Film adaptations for them. So it'll be interesting to finally see how it all ends... πŸ‘€

Side note: I wonder if they'll ever make any more Films based on these Books? πŸ€” I quite like them!

This is the penultimate Book {6/7} in the reading order of this series. πŸ‘ŒπŸ½
I started re-reading this as soon as I finished re-reading Book 5 {The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader} & I'd got halfway through when I first started reading it *ages* ago-But I started from the beginning again.
It's quite different to the last Book, with different settings, characters & of course, a new story. 😊 But some old characters do return & it has the usual old school, naive, innocent vibe & also the religious undertones & {annoyingly} Witches cast as Villains/Witch hating! πŸ™„
But overall I'm enjoying this series & I'm looking forward to finally finishing it all for the first time with Book 7: The Last Battle. πŸ‘πŸ½

This was another great {& final} adventure in Narnia-But with a different feel {In a good way} to the other Books in the series from start to finish...I also didn’t see that ending coming at all! πŸ‘€

I’m glad I’ve re-read/Read all of these Books & got nostalgic about my childhood & more innocent & naive times! 😊

But the wording in these Books can be a bit Sexist & Racist at times, let’s be honest! πŸ’© Also, I’m not a fan of the very strong religious undertones throughout, personally. πŸ‘ŒπŸ½

So overall it’s been fun, but I’m now more than ready to get back into re-reading/Reading some of my YA/NA/Adult Books! πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ½

Wait, this took me nearly *10 months* to finish reading?! 🀯 No way! πŸ€πŸ˜…
Anyway, I borrowed this from a Work colleague after I told her I’d randomly bought, read & enjoyed The House On Cold Hill-Also by Peter James. She said that this was one of the best of his {many} Books so far.
I found it a bit difficult to get into at first {as well as huge} & so put it down for a while. But then I picked it up again & really got into it. 😊
It’s a long Book for sure, but the characters are realistic, the story is really intriguing & it keeps you guessing all the way until the end. πŸ§ πŸ’
If you’re a fan of Sci-Fi/Futuristic Thrillers involving Computers & good writing then you’ll definitely enjoy this! πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ½ Even if you’re not, you still might enjoy it! πŸ‘ŒπŸ½
I’ll definitely be continuing to read more Peter James Books moving forwards.

This was my first read of 2018! 😁

This is the 3rd Peter James Book I’ve read & it’s not my fave of those 3-But I still enjoyed it. πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ½

I like the story, pacing & that it’s an easy, quick, action packed read.

I don’t find the main character & his opinions on certain things very likeable-But I think that’s at least somewhat deliberate on the Authors part! πŸ€”

Overall I’d recommend it if you’re into Peter James & his writing style, twists & WTF endings! πŸ˜‰

I loved this Book! 😍 My first Patrick Ness Book!

From the moment I picked it up, I didn’t want to put it down-It drew me in straight away. πŸ‘€

Also it was a quick read, with a great plot, relatable characters, all the feels & a fantastical element that’s really intriguing. 🌱

I recommend this to everyone! πŸ‘πŸ½

I loved this Book! 😍 Again, another Book that is the first for me from this particular Author! πŸ‘πŸ½ I’ve got American Gods on my TBR too, but that’s another story...Aha. 😏

I love Norse Mythology anyway & was looking to learn more about it, so when I heard about this Book I really wanted to read it. But, being the procrastinator {Even with good things!} that I am, I bought & then waited ages to read it! πŸ˜… I know, I’m working on that! πŸ‘ŒπŸ½

It was like Norse Mythology bedtime stories for me! πŸ˜„ As I got into a routine of reading 1 or 2 stories a night. It was great to read some familiar stories again & lots of new ones. They were random, strange, violent, gory & fantastical & I’m here for all of that! πŸ™‹πŸ½β€β™€οΈ

I already had a love for some of the characters & stories, but this Book helped that grow even more & expanded my knowledge of Norse Mythology-Which was exactly what I wanted, so good times! πŸ’πŸ½β€β™€οΈ
